Four Wildcats Named to PFF’s Week Two All-SEC Team

The folks at Pro Football Focus are big fans of what the Wildcats are doing in the trenches.

After watching Kentucky’s 38-17 victory over Eastern Michigan, the film-grading outlet placed four players from the UK line on their weekly All-SEC team. Landon Young, the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week, Logan Stenberg and Luke Fortner were all given first team honors.

PFF’s Week Two All-SEC offensive line was almost an All-UK team. Darian Kinnard and Drake Jackson just missed the cut, earning second team selections at offensive tackle and center.

You can also find a Wildcat on the defensive side of the ball. Quinton Bohanna was a first team selection in the interior of the defensive line.

Dominant in the pass-rush, Bohanna only registered two pressures but had multiple wins in the passing game and was unable to record pressure due to quick passes.

Defensive tackle Calvin Taylor Jr. and linebacker DeAndre Square were second team selections. This will not be the last time Wildcats flood PFF’s weekly All-SEC teams.
