Four Louisville Players Suspended vs. Kentucky

Louisville will reportedly be without four players when they host Kentucky in the 2018 edition of the Governor’s Cup.

According to the Courier-Journal’s Jake Lourim, UofL has sidelined tight end Jordan Davis and running backs Dae Williams, Malik Staples and Javian Hawkins for a violation of team rules.

Without Davis, Louisville will only have one scholarship tight end on its roster, Micky Crum.  The three running backs were not expected to contribute.  Williams is injured, Hawkins is redshirting and Staples has not played.

Kickoff is set for 7:00 on ESPN2.

Must have been pretty bad. It’s hard to break the rules on a team whose only rules are no drugs, guns, stealing, or beating women.
