Former players sound off about embarrassing Florida loss
I’m mad. You’re mad. Everyone in the Big Blue Nation is mad about today’s pitiful performance, especially some of the program’s former players. Former Kentucky cornerback Martavius Neloms, who played under Joker Philips, sounded off about the football program’s woes throughout the game, and as the minutes wore on, he didn’t hold back:
Earlier in the game, former quarterback Maxwell Smith posted this cryptic tweet as the Gators surged:
Smith graduated from UK in 2014 and transferred to San Diego State for his final season of eligibility.
Even former punter Landon Foster, who graduated last spring and was as good an ambassador as the program could have asked for, seemed to hint at deeper issues:

I’m really beginning to lose interest in college football this year. The performance of Kensucky Foosbaall has really taken away my enthusiasm for the game. Only 34 days until Big Blue Madness.

There should an IQ test required for any potential football coach hires because I have decided Stoops is not a smart man too many dumb mistakes (see 8 men on field punt team vs Auburn) inability to make adjustments during half and game, DEER in headlights look while on camera!
Barnhart should have NEVER named Joker HCIW
and Brooks would have coached another 5 years or so and we wouldn’t have this buffoon because with the success of Brooks we Would have attracted a higher quality coach
Seeing things like this from former players (one of which played under stoops) should be enough to get barnhart to at least start considering moving some pieces around. This is embarrassing for everyone that is involved

Up in the stands, we called Neloms toast, because he was always getting burnt.

Another fun fact: At least they played, and should have some credible insight and opinions as to the direction the program is heading.
Yet another fun fact: Support for this AD, and this program under the guidence of Stoops, is dwindling amongst former UK football players. It has not taken them as long to detect the Bull Shit smoke and mirrors, that most UK fans have been lead to believe as progress, by using the vilification of former coaches and players.

Neal is smart man and got out while the gettin’ was good. I think he saw the propaganda Stoops was spreading was all a CON. I don’t think he would come back to captain a sinking ship especially at the graveyard of coaches. And definitely not as long as Barnhart is here. Neal would be fool to come back.

Anyone calling coach a con man or anything of the sorts is out of line IMHO. Everyone is entitled to speak their mind, but come on. Show a little respect. Please? There are 10 games left. If it doesn’t get better by the end of the year and we have a terrible record the AD will have a tough decision to make. Let them do their jobs and support the players that are busting tail out there. The TV announcers that are taking shots can eat it (as the new KSR saying goes). Their job is to call the game–not call shots at players, coaches, and fans. Maybe their employer should fire them?
this is year 4 and they are worse now than they were in year 1. Players seem to be better athletes, but the team sucks. Why do we not have any good qbs n the team? why do we not have any defense linemen? why can the not tackle anyone? 2-10? really? there was a reason he was backing up Towles who was not very good. why would any player me here now?

Why are former players afraid to speak out if they know what the problems are. If being honest can help this program, please do so. Real fans will appreciate it.
