With a 24-10 win over Georgia, Florida improved to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the SEC to reclaim the top spot in the SEC East. Kentucky now sits a half game out headed into their final two games of conference play. Florida still has games against Arkansas, South Carolina, and LSU. Of those three, Kentucky will need the Gators to drop two and the Cats will need to win out against Georgia and Tennessee.
Even with Florida’s incredible defense, Georgia looked very beatable today in Jacksonville. Nick Chubb ran for 20 yards on nine carries as the Dawgs totaled 21 total rushing yards. Freshman Jacob Eason was 15/33 for 143 yards and one score.
Kentucky and Georgia square off at 7:30 ET next week Florida and Arkansas on CBS at 3:30. Let’s pack Commonwealth next Saturday.
