Remember the last time Kentucky played Louisville in football? The Wildcats scored eight touchdowns, no big deal.
Eddie Gran’s offense racked up 601 yards of offense, with more than 340 on the ground alone. A.J. Rose rushed for 112 yards, Benny Snell eclipsed the 100-yard milestone while rushing for two scores and Kavosiey Smoke joined the fun when the true freshman took the ball 37 yards down the field to set up his first career touchdown. The 56-10 UK win was the largest margin of victory in the series since Kentucky’s 73-0 win in 1922.
Max Duffy is still waiting to punt.
Maybe this year Louisville’s defense will be able to hold Kentucky to less than eight scores. Maybe.
