Hargreaves is the best defensive back in college football
There is no denying the talent of Florida’s star cornerback. Hargreaves led the SEC with 13 pass breakup last season, including three interceptions. Opposing quarterbacks continually look to throw the ball anywhere but near Hargreaves. NFL Media Analyst, Lance Zierlein, named Hargreaves as the top collegiate defensive back to watch in 2015. ESPN analyst, David Pollack, called him a “freak show.”
“I thought as a freshman he was a first-round draft pick, the best cornerback I studied,” Pollack said. “He’s that good. He’s instinctive, balanced, understands route concepts.”
Hargreaves’ father is the linebacker coach at Arkansas.
Vernon Hargreaves Jr. was hired by Arkansas in January as the new linebackers coach. Hargreaves Jr. spent the previous two seasons as the linebacker coach at Houston. Hargreaves was also an All-American player for UConn. Arkansas and Florida do not play each other this season.
Florida is a family affair for the Hargreaves
Vernon’s older sister Carina Hargreaves is currently a grad student at the University of Florida studying sports management. Vernon’s younger sister Chanelle Hargreaves is a senior in high school committed to play volleyball at Florida. Chanelle is ranked 13th overall in the state of Florida and 220th nationally. Florida is currently ranked No. 5 in the nation in women’s volleyball.

After seeing that Hargreaves posted this video of Willie’s dunk on Cincinnati, I am going to say that he is a low key Kentucky fan. Thankfully, we accept anyone into the Big Blue Nation. So welcome Mr. Hargreaves and get ready for another fun season.
Hargreaves can thrown down a windmill
Hargreaves posted a video of him throwing down a windmill dunk on Instagram. Trent Brown, former Florida offensive lineman, is the person in the video on the left. I’m going to say that Brown’s dunk was better because I like the fact that o-linmen are dunking.
