At least we have basketball season ready to hit in full swing on Friday! Can distract us from the disappointment on the football field.

I already know the super football fans are going to get all upset. That’s fine, continue to let your false expectations fuel you LOL.

If you can’t pass at all, you can’t win in the SEC. if you give away more than you take away, you can’t win in the SEC. For God sake make them accountable for fumbles, run stairs, anything! And find a QB who can hit an open receiver without throwing it over his head!! Or teach Johnson to throw at their feet so he hits them in the chest bc his motion is terrible. Otherwise Rockytop is going to be embarrassing and we’ll hope for a Shreveport visit.

Weak coaching decisions at the end. First and goal or at least 2nd and goal go back to traditional set with Johnson to open pass option. Thinking we would not allow a field goal was naive plus we were not going to win in overtime. We had a chance to take four point lead and force a touchdown – immense difference!

We are better than we were in the first of the season. That is a fact. We are what we are, and you need to accept it. We have a long way to go to be able to win against second tier teams of the SEC. 4 wins, in the SEC for us, is great. Expecting more with this roster and coaches is a bit much.
Maybe next year, we will be better. Maybe not. This team has surpassed my wildest expectations, by getting this far. It will be interesting to see if they can be competitive against Tennessee.
