Usually, we get the kickoff times for the first three games of the season around June 1, but with so much uncertainty regarding college football this fall, that deadline has been pushed back. The Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) conferences and their broadcast partners just released a joint statement saying that the times for those games will be released “at a later date” to be determined.
Last week, the NCAA and SEC announced they are lifting their bans on on-campus activities on June 1 and June 8, respectively, opening the door for universities to make their own plans to bring players back on campus to begin training. According to Mitch Barnhart, UK is working with state and local government to determine the best date for UK’s players to return to Lexington.
So, we continue to wait.
