The joke about Kentucky wide receivers catching passes is getting old, but can they just catch a break?
After breaking his fibula at the end of spring practice, sophomore wide receiver Jeff Badet will have to wait longer to receive clearance to play after being hit in the eye with a tennis ball during a catching drill. Stoops said he won’t be reevaluated for another week.
It’s sad to say, but this isn’t the first time something like this has happened.
If you’ll recall, before the Alabama State game last season Javess Blue was forced to sit out after a pass slipped through his fingertips into his eye during pregame warm-ups. This has officially happened one too many times.
