ESPN: Kentucky predicted to make Birmingham Bowl

logo

The folks over at ESPN made an updated projection of which bowls the SEC teams might find themselves in after yesterday’s action — and the Cats were placed in the Birmingham Bow for the second straight week. Here are the full predictions:

College Football Playoff semifinal (Cotton Bowl): Ole Miss
Allstate Sugar Bowl: Georgia
Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl: LSU
Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl: Texas A&M
AutoZone Liberty Bowl: Missouri
TaxSlayer Bowl: Florida
Outback Bowl: Alabama
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl: Auburn
Belk Bowl: Tennessee
AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl: Mississippi State
Birmingham Bowl: Kentucky
Camping World Independence Bowl: Arkansas

Will the Cats go bowling ? Can they improve their standing through the rest of conference play? This week should tell us a lot.

We shouldnt go to no bowl like that. Id rather not go bowling at all unless its a major one. This is all on shannen dawson (witch is a damn girls name by the way). We are a sleeping juggernaut that shouldnt be losing no damn games at all at this point in Stoopes carear. He needs to re-asses and maybe take a pay cut .And take the damn gray off the jerseys. this is BIG BLUE, not BIG GRAY.

A major bowl? You realize this is Kentucky, right? Birmingham Bowl and BBVA Compass Bowl are our types of bowls.

Above two comments are UL fans, fair weather fans, 6 year olds throwing temper tantrums. We don’t need any of your kind here.

I wouldn’t mind going back to the Birmingham Bowl. It’s one of the later bowl games, which I think results in a few extra practices for the team. Birmingham is a good city, and I had fun going to the last bowl game there. I will say that Legion Field is in the hood. Otherwise, the Birmingham Bowl would be a good deal for Kentucky.

I’m going to be nice. Just because a bowl is later in the year doesn’t mean you get those extra days for practice. It’s like spring ball. You get so many days, no matter when you start to practice.
