ESPN breaks down the timeline of Jarren Williams’ ridiculous recruitment

The 2019 college football season begins tonight, and former Kentucky commitment Jarren Williams is set to be under the national spotlight as the starting quarterback of Miami (FL).

With College GameDay at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom this morning to build the hype of Miami’s matchup against Florida at 7:00 p.m. ET, Williams was a popular topic of discussion throughout the show. In it, they talked about his tough battle with Tate Martell in Miami’s quarterback competition, along with his ultimate victory and why he came out on top.

After the show was over and the programming switched over to a high school matchup between St. Frances and Miami Central, they began the game by breaking down Miami (FL) and Williams’ starting debut.

In the process, ESPN showed a graphic highlighting just how ridiculous Williams’ recruitment was and Kentucky’s longtime involvement…

@TerminalPubbie

And they didn’t even factor in his back-and-forth transfer decision where he almost wound up in Lexington yet again this spring (I’m exhausted just thinking about it).

Best of luck to the former Kentucky commitment decommitment commitment decommitment potential transfer target target in his starting debut this evening.

(Take Florida -7)

    Football commitments are like that and reason I don’t get real excited until signing day. Ya never know it seems. Such a parody from basketball.

    Don’t want anyone this indecisive off the field to be leading my team. Seems like a very weak-willed individual. Bye.

    The kid looks good early in the game but we’ll see. I hope he does well for Miami.

    I was hoping it went into a neverending overtime 0-0 because the offenses stunk that bad.

    I know it’s only one half of football in the first game of the year, but *sigh* this Jarren kid is a football player. That being said, here’s to hoping TW makes the strides everyone thinks he will.

    No way I would of touched that line UF -7 with Franks as their starter. If Anything I would of taken Miami +7.
