EKU football is turning down the OVC’s proposed spring conference schedule and doing their own thing this fall.

According to the Richmond Register, EKU will not play this spring and will instead play eight non-conference games this fall, including three at home.

Prior to today, the Colonels had already scheduled games against the likes of Marshall, West Virginia, Troy and The Citadel, all being road matchups.

This morning, EKU added home matchups against Central Arkansas, Stephen F. Austin, and Western Carolina, along with another road game at Central Arkansas.

Check out the full schedule, which begins in just two weeks:

  • Sept. 5 – at Marshall
  • Sept. 12 – at West Virginia
  • Sept. 26 – at The Citadel
  • Oct. 10 – Central Arkansas
  • Oct. 17 – at Troy
  • Oct. 31 – at Central Arkansas
  • Nov. 7 – Stephen F. Austin
  • Nov. 21 – Western Carolina

Who’s up for some EKU football this fall?
