Congratulations are in order for Isaiah Gibson, a University of Kentucky defensive end, who recently welcomed his son into the world.
Gibson announced the birth of his son, Isaiah James Gibson Jr., on Twitter on July 2. Just two days later, Gibson followed up with some adorable pictures of his son.

Gibson is a redshirt freshman, but he received some playing time for the Wildcats last season while still preserving his redshirt. When football (hopefully) returns in the fall, he’ll have that KSR-famous “Dad Strength” to provide a little extra motivation.
There’s one thing we know for sure: Isaiah Jr. is sure to be raised as a Wildcat. His dad pledged his allegiance to the Cats with a large leg tattoo while he was still a high school commit. With that kind of loyalty in the family, there won’t be any questions regarding his son’s fandom.
Gibson is the latest addition to Kentucky football’s Dad Strength club. He’ll join Yusuf Corker, who welcomed a baby girl about eight months ago, and quarterback Terry Wilson, who is expecting a daughter of his own in August.
