It’s been four months since the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50, but Danny Trevathan is just now receiving his Super Bowl ring. Trevathan, who is with the Chicago Bears now, showed off the massive 10-karat white-and-gold ring encrusted with 212 diamonds to reporters and his followers on social media after a workout this afternoon:

According to the Chicago Tribune, the ring arrived at the Bears’ workout facility this morning and general manager Ryan Pace immediately delivered it to Trevathan on the field.
“I was like, ‘What is that?'” Trevathan said. “I kind of knew. And I’m thinking, ‘Oh, man, here it is now. Let me go ahead and open this box and show these guys what it’s all about.'”
Trevathan added that while he’s willing to let his teammates try the ring on as a motivational tool, he might have to get a “down payment” first.
Can you blame him?
