Damien Harris is Making Plays in the SEC Championship

The BBN hoped Harris would be making plays in the SEC Championship one day, just for a different school.  The Madison Southern alum has spent his freshman year as Alabama’s #3 running back, behind Heisman front-runner Derrick Henry.

He has only received carries sparingly (45 carries for 155 yards and 1 TD on the season), but he’s still been able to make an impact for the Tide on Special Teams.  He’s been one of the kick returners since early October,  but today’s big play came on the punt return team. Keith Holcombe and Harris broke the barrier as a pass rusher and helped block a Florida punt out of the end zone for a safety, the first points of the game.

It’s great to see the Kentucky kid succeed.  Tune in to CBS to see if he has anymore tricks up his sleeve.

They’re excited about him running in the future from what I’ve read on Alabama boards. I also heard he didn’t like Matt Elam when they were on visits together because he would eat all the free chips

Honestly don’t care about the kid anymore and him chasing dreams. He can do whatever he wants, move on and talk about something relevant to UK. I think Stoops just have his receivers watch this game to see how to catch a ball.

Or maybe Stoops can watch to see how important Special Team play is.

Or maybe Stoops can ask Saban for some practice tips?

I wish nothing but the best for Damien, but he’s not a Cat. Please don’t mention him on here again unless he transfers to us.

Have to agree. Who really cares about what Damien Harris does for another SEC school. I am begging to wonder if KSR has a crush on this kid. Please stop.
