Commonwealth’s new recruiting room will be a “game changer”

Jen Smith with the Lexington Herald-Leader posted an article last night about the major addition of a recruiting room in Commonwealth Stadium this season. When it comes to all of the fancy new changes coming to Commonwealth Stadium this season, the new recruiting room will definitely be one that pays for itself.

Before, the recruits were kind of just thrown in wherever they would fit and they didn’t get to really experience what a true Kentucky football game is like.

“”No game day atmosphere, no music,” explained Dan Berezowitz, UK’s director of football recruiting operations. “You couldn’t hear what was going on in the stadium. You couldn’t see warm-ups. You couldn’t experience any of it.””

This year though, that won’t be the case. The recruiting room will by far be one of the nicest areas in the stadium and will certainly push UK over the edge with the recruits.

“”Our recruiting room will be a game changer for us,” Berezowitz said of the specialized glass enclosed room in the East end zone of renovated Commonwealth Stadium.”
