College GameDay will debut at Magic Kingdom…but no signs allowed

What is College GameDay without the signs? We’re going to find out on August 24.

ESPN’s flagship preview show will kick off the season live from the Magic Kingdom ahead of Florida vs. Miami at Camping World Stadium, but because of the park’s policies, flags, banners, and signs are prohibited, along with horns, whistles, megaphones, and artificial noisemakers. Fans visiting the Magic Kingdom can watch the show, but park admission is required.

I’m still going to watch because, you know, football, but the signs are the best part of the show. They almost make Lee Corso tolerable. Odds someone sneaks in Ol’ Crimson, the Washington State flag? If not, its streak of 224 straight GameDay appearances will come to an end.

I’m betting only season pass holders would waste 4-6 hours watching a TV show at Disney World. Those tickets are too expensive to stand around somewhere that isn’t at least in a line somewhere

Are you saying that means no National Championship banners from Central Florida?
