CFB writer gives win probability for each UK game, does it poorly

I’m not one to get too overconfident in Kentucky football but I do think this college football writer isn’t giving the Cats enough hope in some of the games this upcoming season.

Bill Connelly of SB Nation listed UK’s win probability in each of the team’s 12 games and only gave them better than a 26 percent chance in two conference games: against South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

Connelly gave Kentucky a 26 percent chance at Mizzou and a 24 percent chance against Mississippi State at home, which seems a little too low. He also gave the edge to Vandy in that Commonwealth Stadium game.

Come on, Bill. Have a little more faith than that.

The Cats improved recruiting is only 12th in the SEC. They will have to beat teams with players other teams did not want.

A predicted 5 wins this season sounds about right until we prove on-the-field otherwise…
