CBS Sports projects Kentucky to the Liberty Bowl

We’re going bowling!!!
(According to CBSSports.com’s preseason bowl projections.)
CBS’s crack college football staff predicts Kentucky will meet West Virginia in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. That bowl game is scheduled for noon on December 30 in lovely Memphis, Tennessee; birthplace of Elvis Presley, the Peabody Duck March and Three 6 Mafia.
So what do we think, Big Blue Nation? Ready for a little Memphis-style BBQ this holiday season?
Let’s do this.

Oh bowl projections, about .00001% correct right now
If you like CBS and believe they know what they are talking about then you must like this too.

If we’re going to get over the hump this year and go from 5 to 6 wins and be bowl eligible, the schedule breaks down like this:
Ws:
Southern Miss — some have them ranked ahead of us, but we’re favored, we’re at home, if we’re going to do something this year, we get this win
NM St — get this W
Austin Peay — get this W
Ls:
at Alabama — would love to play well this game, but whatever happens, count on an L
Georgia — we’re at home and would love to see some magic, but counting an L here
at Tennessee — expected to be very good and at the top of the standings, L
So, that puts us at 4-3 and we need just 2 Ws out of these 6 games that could go either way:
at Florida — we’ve played them well the past 2 years and I know these guys want to break the streak, I think we have a chance
South Carolina — this is after what I hope turns out to be essentially a bye week against NM St and we’re at home; let’s make it 3 in a row
Vandy — Vandy at home, we should really win this if home field is worth anything
Miss St — no Dak + coming off a bye week + home field advantage = definitely a shot at winning this game
at Missouri — close games the past couple of years, we have a shot here
at Louisville — on the road, but a rivalry game and after essentially a bye week in Austin Peay
So, you have 6 games up for grabs and we need 2. As long as we look like an organized football team out there in our first game and handle our business against Southern Miss, I will be optimistic we’re going to grab 2 of these 6 and get to a bowl.
should say we’re 3-3 and we need 3 of the 6, doh!
2015 CBS Sports Bowl Prediction was UK vs IU in Texas……Alamo Bowl I do believe.
I must have missed that one….
lol @ the people coming here to tell everyone this article can’t be trusted. I mean, we had no idea before you all came here that this 4-month early prediction is questionable. Thank goodness for geniuses like you all around to clear up the confusion.
Note: It’s still slow news around here until football and basketball seasons start, so KSR is going to link silly articles just to keep the hits coming on their page. Thanks for playing along just to come here and tell us it probably won’t play out like this.
I will be thrilled with any bowl game. I am fearful that the offense can’t score enough to make up for the inability to stop the run. A six win regular season would be absolutely wonderful.
Liberty Bowl Dec. 30 Memphis, Tenn. Big 12 vs. SEC West Virginia vs. Kentucky

I stand corrected. It was another site that had us playing IU…
STILL, I must have missed that game
Memphis is not the birth place of Elvis, Tupelo, Mississippi is! Someone doesn’t know Elvis!
More importantly, Elvis wasn’t born in Memphis
