Cats add in-state kicker as a walk-on

Paintsville’s Tyler Pack will walk on at the University of Kentucky next fall as a backup kicker for the Wildcats.

The Johnson Central product has quite a leg, too. You may remember him kicking this 52-yard bomb with his friend’s head providing the hold, last fall:

Pack also set a state record with a 60-yard free kick field goal as a sophomore.

Not a bad little addition to the bench behind Austin MacGinnis.

The linemen better be really good at holding back the rush in order to have time to execute this kick!

Coaching will fix that, he’s never had any kicking coaching other than Soccer.

I wonder if his holder Vincent Van Gogh is coming as well? No way dude will keep his ear if he keeps doing that.

Is post #1 making a joke or is he a joke? MacGinnis was an excellent kicker until he suffered injuries.
