Can Patrick Towles Finally Beat Louisville?

Even though he’s no longer at UK, former Kentucky Mr. Football Patrick Towles will get one more shot at his old rival when the University of Louisville travels to Boston College this Saturday.
“I’m extremely grateful for another shot at them. Hopefully the fifth time is the charm,” Towles told Steve Jones of The Courier-Journal. “I think there’s a lot of stuff that I’ve seen and isn’t a lot that I haven’t seen. Coming into this game, I’ve prepared for Louisville to play them four times. I’ve seen a lot of their tape. I think I’m not going to get rattled.”
Boston College snapped a 12-game ACC losing streak with a win over N.C. State on Saturday. Even though their offensive numbers aren’t great, Towles is only two wins away from going to the postseason for the first time.
UK’s sixth-ranked all-time passer revealed he still has close ties to Kentucky. He’s kept in touch with Shannon Dawson, congratulating him on his success at Southern Miss, but he hasn’t talked with Mark Stoops or any others on the Kentucky staff. He still talks to some of his former teammates, most notably Drew Barker and Charles Walker, and he frequently interacts with Kentucky fans on social media. “They’re were just as awesome to me from the day I committed to the day I transferred.”
Towles has been too busy to keep up with the Cats too much, but he continues to cheer for them.
“I’m so happy for them,” he said. “I hope they win out. I think they’re talented enough. Their coaches have done a good job of putting them in position to win, and I wish nothing but the best for them.”
And the Big Blue Nation wishes Patrick nothing but the best this Saturday against the Cards.

LET ME THINK ABOUT IT, NO!
I’m sorry but Patrick gets no love from me. He was too selfish to accept being benched. Glad he’s gone.
Amen. Glad he is gone.
He had an terrible problem with throwing to the wrong color uniform, but he was still a good kid. Still is, apparently.
49.7% Passing, 1146 Yards, 7 TD’s, and 5 Picks as a 5TH YEAR SENIOR. He’s regressed each year he’s played. No thanks.
I will say this: Patrick always carried himself with class at UK, and he never got in trouble off the field. He was a great representative for UK, and gave his best effort. For that, BBN owes him thanks.
…and I would absolutely LOVE to see him knock off Louisville!
Me too, knock them right out of the playoff conversation.
They’re not in the conversation. No way there will be two ACC teams….
That will happen only with a real football conference, if ever.
