Brent Musburger: Kentucky is a Dark Horse in the SEC

Everyone’s favorite newly retired broadcaster, Brent Musburger, has made a bold prediction for the upcoming football season. In an interview with SEC Country, Musburger said:

“You can’t consider LSU a dark horse, so you can’t go there. I would go to Kentucky. A little bit of a sleeper. They’re going to win some big games under Mark Stoops.”

Although he likes the Cats chances at a dark horse run, he still is predicting the winner of the Florida/Georgia game to represent the SEC in Atlanta.

Musburger’s praise of Kentucky didn’t stop there. He said, “I liked the bourbon they would serve me when I was in Kentucky.” Never change Brent.

Looking forward to seeing which player’s girlfriends make Brent’s dark horse list. “She does have that extra ear on her forehead, which give her a unique look, but bangs are in and I think she can cover it up very nicely. I think with three or four games and two or three bottles behind me, she’ll be a real looker.”

Considering he’s now in (or soon to be in) the handicapping business, this is semi-notable.
