After leaving Kentucky in 1998, Leach was the offensive coordinator at Oklahoma for one season before taking the head coaching job at Texas Tech, where he stayed from 2000-2009. Following an ugly breakup in Lubbock, Leach was hired at Washington State in 2012, where he has been ever since.
At Texas Tech, Leach led the Red Raiders to an 84-43 overall record and ten consecutive bowl appearances. He followed up his successful tenure at Texas Tech with a 55-47 overall record and six bowl appearances in eight seasons.
Now, Leach is reportedly headed to Starkville.
