Boom Williams swears off social media for fall camp

boomwithfansspringscrimmage 247

Fall camp means three things: practice reports, Lonny Demaree looking fly, and players swearing off social media. According to my Twitter feed, Boom Williams is the first player to pledge to stay off social media in order to focus on football:

Back at SEC Media Days, Mark Stoops praised Boom Williams, who many assume will be UK’s starting running back, but said he’ll have to earn that spot in camp:

“He won’t be given anything, just like any of our players will,” said Stoops. “As you know, you need quite a few running backs for this league. He knows that. But he is a key piece to us and our success, and I’m pleased with his growth in certain areas, and he needs to continue to grow in certain areas as well.”

Cutting out unnecessary distractions is a good first step.

I don’t think you want Drew Barker on the field period. It’s apparent after the EKU fight that his O-Line doesn’t have his back.

UL fan, go follow your own team. I know it’s impossible for you to do because it’s so boring but do it.

UL Fan Logic: “Hey, UL starts camp today but I rather post on a UK site”

Oh and it wasn’t his OL that was with him. It was one of our DT and one of our WR that were with him. Get the facts before you troll.

Barker wasn’t with anyone from the o-line at EKU. He was with a receiver and a defensive tackle.

I offer wish KSR would swear off social media. Too many dumb tweets gets used.

I like when someone wants to bag on the quality of someone else’s stuff but can’t even get their own comment right.

Great work, buddy. A+. Keep it up.

Angelo’s a well-known dipshit around these parts. Reading his posts are kind of like seeing the handicapped kid at a social event – you just kinda grin and move along.

“Too many dumb tweets gets used.” So ironic.
