Fall camp means three things: practice reports, Lonny Demaree looking fly, and players swearing off social media. According to my Twitter feed, Boom Williams is the first player to pledge to stay off social media in order to focus on football:

Back at SEC Media Days, Mark Stoops praised Boom Williams, who many assume will be UK’s starting running back, but said he’ll have to earn that spot in camp:
“He won’t be given anything, just like any of our players will,” said Stoops. “As you know, you need quite a few running backs for this league. He knows that. But he is a key piece to us and our success, and I’m pleased with his growth in certain areas, and he needs to continue to grow in certain areas as well.”
Cutting out unnecessary distractions is a good first step.
