Boom and Benny now first duo to rush for 1,000 apiece in a season

Last week, Boom Williams became only the seventh running back in Kentucky football history to rush for 1,000 yards in a single season.
Tonight, Benny Snell joined him on the other side of the 1,000-yard plateau as only the eighth back in Kentucky football history to do so.
Together, they are the first duo to share the honor in a single season.
Those guys are pretty good, huh?
And as for Snell, he surpassed Moe Williams’ UK freshman rushing record set back in 1993. Williams is now a grad assistant on the staff, and Mark Stoops said it was nice to have him here to see Snell surpass his mark.
