Another week, another award for a Kentucky offensive lineman.
“Big” George Asafo-Adjei was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week after grading out at 98 percent against Vanderbilt. The senior right tackle also had three knockdown blocks and 23 blocks at the point of attack while making zero mistakes.
It’s the second time Big George has earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors. Bunchy Stallings also has two titles this season. That means a UK offensive lineman has been one of the SEC’s best in the trenches in four of seven games.
At this point the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week award should be renamed “Kentucky Offensive Lineman of the Week.”
