The June recruiting period is off and running, and that means targets are being discovered and offers are being sent out.

Over at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility, the Kentucky Wildcats are still working on building a class of 2022 while also doing some groundwork on rising sophomores and juniors. The program just got finished hosting its second Sunday Showcase Camp of the summer, and there was an abundance of talent participating inside the Nutter Field House.

KSR had boots on the ground to discover some new emerging recruits that the coaching staff is tracking throughout the recruiting process. After some digging, here are some offensive targets to know.

Kobi Albert

Measurables: 6-0, 175

Home: Fairfield (Ala.) Preparatory School

Class: 2022

Current recruitment: Has visited Maryland and Kentucky in June. Will visit Auburn on June 18. KSR has learned there could also be a visit to Michigan occurring at the end of the month.

Skinny: The athlete out of Metro Birmingham was the most popular player at Kentucky’s most recent camp. Jon Sumrall is leading the way in the recruitment, and Albert is the cousin of current Kentucky true freshman wide receiver Chris Lewis. The top-15 prospect in the state of Alabama could play wide receiver or cornerback for Kentucky. This is one of the program’s top prospects in the class of 2022. Look for the Wildcats to get Albert to campus this fall on an official visit.

Kaden Moorman

Measurables: 5-11, 207

Home: Frankfort (Ky.) Franklin County

Class: 2023

Current recruitment: Offers from Wisconsin, Toledo, and Kentucky

Skinny: Moorman rushed for 606 yards and 13 touchdowns last season while averaging six yards per rush for the 4A state runner-ups. After a Wisconsin offer on June 6, Kentucky hosted Moorman on Sunday and issued an offer following the camp.

Tanner Lemaster

Measurables: 6-6, 235

Home: Washington Court House (Ohio) Washington High

Class: 2023

Current recruitment: Has six current Power Five offers — Iowa State, Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt. Has unofficially visited Notre Dame, Marshall, and Kentucky this month.

Skinny: Vince Marrow was pretty much attached to the hip of Lemaster while the prospect was in Lexington on Sunday. The rising junior fits the mold for an in-line tight end that brings great size to the position. Expect Kentucky to get the prospect back on campus this fall for a game visit.

Allen Mitchell

Measurables: 5-9, 175

Home: St. Louis De Smet Jesuit

Class: 2023

Current recruitment: Has five Power Five offers — Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Michigan State, and Minnesota. Has visited K-State and Kentucky this June. Earned Michigan State and Minnesota offers at a mega camp event in Missouri.

Skinny: Safeties coach Frank Buffano has been very active in Missouri, and Mitchell earned an offer at the end of April. The class of 2023 tailback got a chance to work out with new UK running backs coach John Settle on Sunday. This is a name to monitor.

Dylan Edwards

Measurables: 5-7, 147

Home: Derby (Kan.) High

Class: 2023

Current recruitment: Offers from Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Memphis, and West Virginia. Has visited both Kansas State and Kentucky this month.

Skinny: Listed as an all-purpose back, Edwards worked out at receiver at Kentucky’s camp on Sunday and got some face time with Stoops before leaving campus. The skill player posted 1,833 rushing yards and 204 receiving yards with 27 total touchdowns as a sophomore. Kentucky continues to expand its recruiting operation into the midwest

Trevon Alexander

Measurables: 6-4, 369

Home: Radcliff (Ky.) North Hardin

Class: 2023

Current recruitment: Offers from Eastern Kentucky and Kentucky.

Skinny: Kentucky has recruited North Hardin very hard recently, and this is another prospect to monitor. Alexander is a monstrous offensive tackle prospect with very large arms.

Lance Williams

Measurables: 6-2, 307

Home: Alcoa (Tenn.) High

Class: 2023

Current recruitment: Has visited Clemson, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, and Tennesee this month. Offers issued by West Virginia and Virginia Tech. Was offered by Eric Wolford when the offensive line coach was at South Carolina.

Skinny: One of the better-looking offensive line prospects at the camp, Williams looks like a mauler in the run game.

Eric Handley

Measurables: 6-1, 185

Home: Fairfield (Ala.) Preparatory School

Class: 2024

Current recruitment: TBD

Skinny: The son of a coach, Handley was the best-looking quarterback on campus over the weekend, and had the attention of Liam Coen. A high school teammate of Albert, Handley looked impressive in the camp setting.

Hayes Johnson

Measurables: 6-3, 294

Home: Campbellsville (Ky.) Taylor County

Class: 2024

Skinny: The state of Kentucky continues to produce some top-notch offensive line talent, and Johnson could be the next star. The rising sophomore looked the part and earned an offer at camp.
