Betting odds on which SEC coach will get fired first

You should never root for someone to lose their job. We are not condoning that kind of behavior here whatsoever. But you can make some good money on it.

The popular betting site BetOnline.ag set odds for the first head football coach in the Southeastern Conference to get fired. LSU’s Ed Orgeron is the favorite at 9/4, followed by Missouri’s Barry Odom and Vanderbilt’s Derek Mason.

Mark Stoops is fifth on the list at 7/1 odds he gets canned first.

What kind of scandal would it take to cash that Saban ticket?

That scandal would have to be so bad it would make Rick blush.

Only if Saban was caught with Pitino’s and Petrino’s girls behind a slut hut in a three way while doing cocaine off of Katrina Powell in the process of murdering Kirby Smart as a traitor.

As long as AD Barnhart is at KY, he will continue to extend Stoops contract as long as we are bowl eligible.

I hope LSU fires Orgeron this year and hires Brohm from Purdue!

Brohm will never coach at UK. Shouldn’t say never, I know. His family is loyal to UofL.

Well I haven’t checked in lately… but in answer to Drew’s question I’m reminded of Gov. Edwin Edwards pronouncement that in order for him to lose he’d “have to be caught in bed w a dead girl or a live boy.” I know he later went to the house of many doors for neither, and it’s no longer politically correct, but it’s just a great line. I’d say to Drew: that would NOT quite do it in Saban’s case. Times change.

Saban should be 1 million to 1

Right?! Saying Kirby Smart and Dan Mullen have the same odds is crazy. How many championships have they won? And frankly Muschump w 3 years in if he takes a step back looks a lot more vulnerable than Gus… and Joe Moorhead w no experience is 33:1? No Goodwill in the bank? Makes me a little uneasy they think these guys are 3-5 times less likely to implode than Stoops.

5+ wins and Stoops keeps his job without hesitation. 4 is the number where I begin to see some doubt. The schedule is just so tough. It also depends on how we play in the losses.

What makes the schedule so tough? Maybe it’s the 3 ridiculously bad out of conference teams? Maybe it’s the FCS team? Maybe it’s all the SEC bottom feeders on the schedule?
