Where do you see this improvement? I think they have had two practices thus far and played zero games! Could it just be in the homers heads? I predict SC by at least 23 points. We shall see who is right!

Baker is the most overrated recruit I’ve seen in a LONG time. This football program is pathetic. if we accept a bowl game at 5-7 it would be a tremendous embarassment. what a joke of a program. all of the hype, all of the bs, all of the “great recruits”. it all means nothing. UK needs to go to conference USA or the MAC for football, or do away with the program altogether and join the big east for basketball. what a joke of a program. absolutely pathetic performance. the turning point for me was the STUPID decision to kick that field goal instead of pinning UL inside the 10. What a joke. All of you chumps who will fall for the hype next year, bless you all. after over 40 years of this crap I’m done. Thank goodness for basketball. But, when Calipari leaves I don’t trust this athletic department to find an adequate successor. bash me all you want, but the ones who have suffered for 40 plus years like I have will understand.

A couple of months ago I said that quarterback wasn’t our problem, and I got trashed for it. I stand by that statement. Towles wasn’t the problem. Barker isn’t the problem now. It’s the rest of the offense.

Stoops and his staff are just a symptom of the problem just like Joker and his staff. As long as Mitch is AD and UK fans let him get away with it he will hire coaching staffs that no other SEC team would hire. His goal is and always will be for the very profitable football program to fund all sports that aren’t basketball.
Nothing is going to change until we get an AD that tries as hard to compete in SEC football as we try to win in basketball. That happens only when fans demand it by not going to any games until it changes. When the profit drops the university will have to pay attention.
How to make a football powerhouse:
Step 1: Fire Stoops
Step 2: Hire Les miles
Step 3: Lean back and watch the trophies roll in

This would be painful if I hadn’t expected it. This is all coaching. I originally said give Stoops 5 years. I changed my mind. Let’s not even have a coach and save money, just like we did on the special teams coach. Our last bowl team lost to a team with no coach. It would be an upgrade. You don’t lose games where you lead 24-7 at half. You just don’t. Time to shitcan the entire staff.

Nope then Mitch won’t have it available to fund the sports he actually cares about. Instead scuttle Mitch and get an AD that cares about football and will use football profits to hire an SEC caliber coaching staff instead of yet another unproven first year head just because they are inexpensive.

Max Smith WOULD have won at least 6 games… QB play was the worst I’ve seen at UK. Pretty sad all the way around. All points Stoops have earned over the past 3 years are out the window.
I can’t put all this on Stoops, his game plan was to control the game with Boom and JoJo when they both went down we lost all speed in the backfield. Horton is a power runner, not a speed runner. I hate to play the ‘if’ game but if Boom or JoJo were healthy we at least would have gotten a few more first downs and kept the football away from Jackson.

2002 Mitch Barnhart becomes AD
2003 – After two years away from the game Rich Brooks is hired as UK head coach, 39-47 record, 16-39 in the SEC
2010 – Mitch hires first time head coach Joker Phillips, 13-24 record, 4-20 in the SEC
2013 – Mitch hires first time head coach Mark Stoops, 12-23 record, 4-20 in the SEC
Mitch also hired Billie G. Agree w/ EdC, Barnhart is as over rated as all his hires, he obviously is a much better politician!! And for all of those that think it cant be done at KY, go look at what James Franklin did at Vanderbilt. We are NOT a Graveyard of Football, but a Graveyard of Poor Decisions.
We can get les miles for just another one million more than we are paying stoops. I just wonder if Barnyard is smart enough to offer it to him.

Losing Boom and Jo Jo hurt, but the play calling just awful on both sides of the ball. I was hoping I was wrong about Barker, but I just don’t see SEC quarterback, he looks so stiff from the waist up and can not run a lick and Dawson calls a qb run on first down, wow. I said before both Towles and Barker will be pushed by Hoak, if we can hang onto him. After today if changes are not made look for fans to bail.
I don’t see Hoak as the savior. He struggled on the HS level. He does not rank in the top 30 players in Ohio.We may need a new OC but we 4sure need a real QB coach.
This is absolutely right. IF Stoops comes back next year, he needs to have a new staff.
I don’t see Hoak as a savior, but I do see a kid from a football school and a football state that could push the two we have. When Max arrived here as a freshman I saw better qb skills in him than from what we had, not saying a lot I know since Newton was the qb at the time.
At this point I would have to agree with a lot of fans on here, most times I wouldn’t, but if les miles is available I don’t see how you can’t try and get the guy.

The team quit on him no leadership Stoops is not a head coach we have to get better we made to many mistakes same old story from him how do you get better how do you correct mistakes coaching.I am sorry he and his staff need to go before they run the program into the ground.
I liked how they had Elam jog to the sideline, then back in. The entire defense not being set multiple times was clever. When cornerbacks and receivers do that hands up, what’s the play thing … that gives me comfort. I also like the communication when players get pissed at each other trying to line up.
I’m sure Mary in Greasy Creek is still on board. Me – not so much.
