Austin MacGinnis worked out for the New York Football Giants

Austin MacGinnis was a late scratch for this week’s KSR Football Podcast, recorded last night without MacGinnis’ expert analysis. He texted the group hours before we were set to meet up to say he would be out of town.
Turns out, MacGinnis made a quick trip up to New Jersey to work out for the New York Football Giants. ESPN’s Field Yates reported MacGinnis attended the workout with fellow kicking prospects Blair Walsh, Giorgio Tavecchio and Cole Hedlund.
The Giants’ current employed kicker, Aldrick Rosas, has missed four of his 12 field goal tries so far this season, plus three extra points. I was there to boo Rosas in MetLife Stadium on Monday Night Football a few weeks ago so I am taking partial credit for the potential job opening.

While he’s at it maybe send some tape to the Bears. They need a dependable kicker.
