Through one half in Auburn, the Cats trail by one point, 8-7, thanks to Auburn’s early two-point conversion, but let’s talk about how the half ended.

Somehow both teams are upset as they head to the locker room after a Kentucky touchdown was ruled down at the goal line, only to be followed by an Auburn TD called back after UK coughed up a goal line fumble. It was an insane ending to our first first half of sports since March, but here we are.

Took a touchdown off the board for us. Don’t care about the rest. Should be 14-8 Cats.

So help me understand. I had to leave to pick up a kid after the INT and then heard Tom and Jeff give the 8-7 halftime score. I pulled up ESPN’s play by play. Looks to be either he stepped out of bounds and/or a penalty? Was it just the penalty or out of bounds, too???

Targeting penalty on Auburn. Then they just knelt to end the half

Thanks! I hope what does not kill and demoralize them will make them stronger in the final 30 mins. I do not understand that video review. Video replay was conclusive that was a touchdown. Did they interview Gus or Stoops on the way to the locker room?

I still cannot believe it. But then again… it’s the SEC refs. We’ve seen garbage like this before so maybe it should be believable. Incredibly stupid, unconscionable, egregious, (fill in adjective here)… but maybe it actually is believable. The refs have continued to one-up themselves in stupidity. A pattern that keeps on giving.
