At least one person believes Florida is still elite

CBS college football analyst Gary Danielson believes Florida, Kentucky’s next opponent, is “the most underrated team in the country right now.”

From the Orlando-Sentinel:

“Don’t be fooled by a mistake-filled 21-16 loss at Miami or an offense that has scored just 40 points in two games, warns Danielson, who has called SEC games since 2006.

‘They are an elite team that turned the ball over,’ Danielson said in a notes package released by the network. ‘That can happen to any team in any football game. Florida dominated the game and should have won.'”

Though Danielson seems confident in his backing of the 2013 Gators, there are several folks, myself included, who think Kentucky has a chance to pull off the upset. Kentucky has two weeks to prepare, plus Florida will be coming off a rivalry game versus Tennessee, and despite what Danielson is preaching, Florida hasn’t looked like Florida through its first two games. The Gators will be the favorite, as always, but this is the best opportunity Kentucky has had to end the streak in a long, long time.

Not to mention, Stoops is PUMPED for his first game under the lights in Commonwealth. He says his players are, too.

Go Cats.

Beat Florida.

If they stay within 30 it’s a victory.

Florida coaching staff will be fired at the end of the year; their fans are so over Muschamp! UL fans better really start cheering for UF; odds are Charlie never coaches a day in the ACC.

Danielson is a superb football analyst, but I think UK has an outside chance of the upset. I’ll be watching the Tennessee game.

You guys predicting a win over FL are nuts. You are confusing the present with the future. Future=bright, present=not so much. Gators will chomp.

    6. — I’m not predicting a win. Just saying if Kentucky is going to do it, this might be the year. Best chance they’ve had in forever.

You do realize that since Joker started coaching the WR’s, Florida is 1-2.

UK has a shot at UF, if they did with UL seeing that they have the better offense, and they held them under 30 points. Then UK can hold UF under 30, hell, I would say under 20 but no more than 20.

That’s if their D performs just as well as they did against UL, if UK’s offense shows us, then we will have a chance in this game.

Also, UK’s current offense struggles just proves how cancerous Joker is.

Danielson is one of the biggest “know-it-alls”. Florida has not played good since Joker has been a coach there. While that may not be his fault, it is true, “#TheJokerEffect?”. Florida is beatable by UK. If some of you negative people are not trolls, I do not know why you even follow sports,or go on a sports blog.

I’ve been to many UK games, including the Arkansas win(which many left and we won). The only game I ever left early was the year FL hung like 52 points on us in the first half in 2008 I think. I had good seats for that game near were FL came out to warm up, when I saw their team vs UK It was obvious that they came to play while, on the UK side of things folks were just milling about. I think the focus for our team looks good. We shall see this go round, but this is a rival game for our new coach for sure.

We are getting better, but we have absolutely zero chance of beating Florida. Be reasonable guys, it’s gonna be a long year but as a previous poster said the future is bright . Don’t be shocked if we don’t win any conference games. Seriously, some of our best teams only won two conference games, pathetic but true.

The important thing is how in the world does Joker have a job? Any job? Seriously.
