Just a few hours after Mrs. T told you Farrington Huguenin would be playing in the NFLPA’s Collegiate Bowl, A.J. Stamps accepted a bid to play in the All-Star game for Seniors.

The Junior College transfer was a huge recruiting win for Mark Stoops when Stamps chose Kentucky over Ohio State.  Stamps started (almost) every game in his two years at UK.  He showed off his skills against the pass in his first year, picking off four passes for a defense that had struggled to create turnovers.  After finishing fifth in the team in tackles in 2014, Stamps brought the big hits in the second half of his Senior season.  After starting the season rather slow, he finished with 10 more tackles, 67, had 8 pass deflections and one interception.

His big hits will be missed, and this pick from his first game as a Wildcat will not be soon forgotten.

You can watch A.J. and Farrington on January 23rd at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
