Alabama won but it really wasn’t that bad

Don’t let the final score get you down. Sure, Alabama won by 28 with a 34-6 final score, but Kentucky did some good things we can be optimistic about. The defense played alright, considering the opponent; the team fought until the very end; and it was a tie ballgame after one quarter. Let’s be honest with ourselves: Kentucky was never winning that game. So this isn’t a loss to get beat up over.
Now the Vanderbilt game is critical for Stoops’ future and what’s left of the Cats’ bowl hopes. Saturday night didn’t do anything to crush the momentum from the South Carolina win and it looks like the team will survive Tuscaloosa without injury.
We’ll have plenty more from the game throughout the night and tomorrow…

Hey look at us. We were supposed to lose by 35, but we only lost by 28! We must be a bowl team! We are so close to competing for an SEC title, like Stoop said we would.
Who says it wasn’t that bad? over 400 yards to under 200…looked like an ass whoopin to me. 4th year and still taking Joker Phillips style beatings. 🙂
‘the defense did something no other team has done against Alabama this year – it held the Crimson Tide to under 35 points.’
That is the dumbest thing to be excited about
Should’ve ran Snell at them 20 times. That was the ONLY chance they had at a TD.
They couldn’t…there were too many 3 and outs to get him in the game…
Better than anyone expected. I like that they didn’t quit either. Next week is the true test. Beat Vandy!
YIPPEE !!! We got our guts kicked out by 4 TD’s !!! We are Champs !!!
Good Gawd…
