630 WLAP is replaying Tom Leach’s call of the Belk Bowl

Our friends at 630 WLAP in Lexington have a nice New Year’s Day treat for Big Blue Nation.

Coming up at 4:35 p.m., the station will re-air the radio broadcast from yesterday’s game. You can tune in via your radio if you’re in the area or online right here to hear Tom Leach and Jeff Piecoro call Kentucky’s come-from-behind win over Virginia Tech in the Belk Bowl.

Sync it up with the muted television broadcast and you’ll be in business.

I listen to the radio most of the time anyway. TV announcers are too much blah, blah, blah. Tom’s finish on the basketball game on Saturday and the bowl game were great to hear live as it happens. It’s also nice to know if the shots I’m watching on TV go in since the TV is well behind the live broadcast on radio. GO CATS !!
