Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Your officials are Karl Hess, Roger Ayers, Michael Roberts

Roger Ayers, oh boy.

Kentucky lost its last four games with Ayers on the floor and holds a 7-7 record overall in Ayers-called games. Last time we saw Ayers, a loss at Arkansas last season, John Calipari had 30 career losses at Kentucky and Ayers officiated five of them. Cal is 2-5 with Ayers on the floor.

Roger is quick to throw Coach Cal a tech, too. He’s given Cal a T in three of their last six games together.

Point being, we didn’t get the best draw for tomorrow’s game.

Luckily, UofL fans hate Karl Hess.

4 losses in a row too, and I believe that Arkansas game was by far the most terribly officiated game I’ve seen in my life.

This is just ridiculous! You can’t tell me this wasn’t on purpose. Everyone wants us to lose this game.

Great – Harrell will punch somebody out, and Ayers will toss cal out of the game.

Amazing how this “happens” isn’t it? (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, SAY no more!)

But you know what, in the end it won’t matter. UK wins anyway.

The good news is UK has not been fouling a lot this year because the defense has been so good. Typically, and even Cal says this…you foul because you were beat on defense. UK has not been committing a lot of offensive fouls either due to their size.

So, based off the season so far I’d say they will do fine with the refs and believe UofL will have a tougher time due to UKs size on offense. Defensively, UK will not have to be as aggressive as UofL either because the front court will soak up any defensive breakdowns from the guards (though they have played great defense too and not sure if they are not just funneling the ball to the front court guys!).

I look for a close game before UK pulls away at the 12 -8 min mark of the second half. UK has more depth and size, better talent, better athletes too.

This is the part that worries me the most…

Ayers obviously takes it upon himself to make it difficult for Coach Cal to win. How does he manage to get assigned to our games? I guess Jurich is aware of Ayer’s questionable ethics and is looking for an edge because he knows Pitino cannot win if the game is officiated fairly. At least this way UL won’t be able to complain about the officials.

Don’t worry. This officiating crew is bought and paid for by Cal like all officials and will call everything for us. It must be true because Cardinals fans all believe it.

Whining about a conspiracy of anti-UK officials is both retarded and hysterical. Grow up!
