Now that looks like a CHAM-PEEN-CHIP looking pic!

Young and Randle look stoppable when standing still; otherwise, look out!

    Awesome!

passing thought…The first pic taken in the future without Hood will seem like it is missing something like a backdrop, ball, etc.. It won’t seem right.

    2 questions:

    1. Do you think Polson or Hawkins will get more playing time?

    2. Are we going to go 9 or 10 deep this season?

    Cauley-Stein
    Randle
    Poythress
    Twin 1
    Twin 2
    Young
    Johnson
    Lee
    Polson
    Hawkins

I’m curious on those two topics…

This team will be a lot like the 2009-10 team. I think it will win a lot. It is inexperienced and will have a lot of future great NBA players. The difference maker might be the the outside shooting. The John Wall lead team could not shoot it from the outside. WVU zone busted its championship hopes. I think we might have outside weapons this year to give us a shot at the Title.

anybody remember the name of a very famous bball player who’s playing measurements were also 6’6″, 215 …

#9, when attempting to answer your questions we must remember that (hopefully) there will be a lot of blowouts this year, so in that case I think Cal will definitely be using more than ten guys late in games to try to develop them. JP actually played quite well in the Robert Morris game as I remember, and I’m hoping that he will get a lot of spot minutes along with Hawkins. While very light on overall experience, the team is extremely deep, and the individual parts so skilled that you will never have fewer than 3-4 future pros on the floor, which will make drop with any line-up pretty low, and should allow us to run all but 4-5 teams to death over 40 minutes if we bring the intensity.

i have a feeling i’m going to look at this picture and these measurements way too long today … what’s up with these shoes? lot of guys have the same pair on, what is that? what does it say, can’t make it out …

I dont think college bball has seen a team this big and talented! They are so well rounded and each player can D up! Dakrai Johnson is so skilled in the post and willie is so skilled and atheltic! What really sticks out is Randle at 6’9 250! Him and Alex will be able to dominate at the 3 and 4 spots. James Young is so versatile and will be able to shoot the lights out with Aaron Harrison! Cal can change the line up around so much and play with most teams!

EJ is a athletic player that can really LEAP as of all we know now. Hes a sprinter. Shot looks unorthodox, but hes the kind of walk on you love to have!

BigBlue #9) In my opinion, in March the team will be primarily 8 deep with Aaron Harrison getting some minutes at PG, and the same for Young. If Hawkins and Polson prove their worth this year, it’s possible this will be extended out. The 2012 didn’t use the back-up PG on the depth chart as the 2nd option at the point behind Teague. Cal used Lamb, and even Miller at the point so that his best players and athletes were always on the court. But, only time will tell with this team. Hawkins and or Polson may emerge and get some minutes. Yes, they’ll get time in mop up duty, but if they prove they can hang, they’ll earn some quality minutes in other games as well. I just believe Aaron Harrison will be the second option at the point, with Young rotating in at the 2-3, and maybe even the 1 at times.

I know I heard somewhere recently that we have more length on this team than all but like one NBA team. That’s just insane; I can’t wait. I think most of the guy’s listed heights are pretty accurate, although I gotta say I’ve never believed that Jon Hood is 6’7″.
