After updating its 2021 rankings earlier this week, Rivals has since updated its rankings in the class of 2022, with several of Kentucky’s top targets seeing significant bumps.

With Emoni Bates (No. 1) headed to Michigan State and Jalen Duren (No. 2) expected to explore the professional ranks, six of the next eight prospects in the rankings are currently being recruited by Kentucky. Dior Johnson (No. 4) is currently committed to Syracuse, while Kentucky cut ties with Brandon Huntley-Hatfield (No. 8) back in August.

Here are the other top-ten prospects who have been contacted by the UK coaching staff:

  • Chris Livingston  (No. 3)
  • Amari Bailey (No. 5)
  • Jaden Bradley (No. 6)
  • Dariq Whitehead (No. 7)
  • Mark Mitchell (No. 9)
  • Keyonte George (No. 10)

From there, 16 players have had confirmed Kentucky interest, including seven others in the top 25.

  • Jarace Walker (No. 12)
  • Skyy Clark (No. 13)
  • Brandon Miller (No. 14)
  • Sadraque Nganga (No. 15)
  • Cason Wallace (No. 16)
  • Zion Cruz (No. 21)
  • Vincent Iwuchukwu (No. 25)
  • Chance Westry (No. 26)
  • Eric Dailey Jr. (No. 32)
  • Dillon Hunter (No. 36)
  • Rylan Griffen (No. 43)
  • Amen Thompson (No. 44)
  • Shawn Phillips (No. 51)
  • Ausar Thompson (No. 57)
  • Kamari Lands (No. 58)
  • Tre Donaldson (No. 107)

As of today, Skyy Clark is the only prospect in the class of 2022 with a Kentucky offer, with Jaden Bradley seemingly next in line to receive one from John Calipari and the UK staff.

With Clark expected to reclassify to the class of 2021 and currently trending toward North Carolina, Kentucky could find themselves with a clean slate moving forward among junior prospects.

Who are you hoping Kentucky signs in 2022?

Truthfully, I would like them to lock on a big man, and actually get him! I know it’s going to be a struggle w/o KP, but landing one that ranks high will be a start I think!
