What they’re saying on Social Media: Kentucky’s win against Georgia Tech

Well, it’s nice to get a victory over a power five school as a tune up for really impactful games of the year coming up in the next two weeks! The last home game until the Red team rolls into town was a nice overall win for the Cats as they advance to 8-1 on the year. Let’s see what Twitter had to say throughout the game about what happened in Rupp on Saturday night.

Pre-Game

This by far is always my favorite time in Rupp! As this was the first Saturday with no Kentucky football, that’s how you do it.

As Fans really piled into Rupp last night for the victory Drew was having a panic attack with the decision UK Athletics made for the game…

Unlike Drew, I enjoy the pom poms. A good fidget as the game goes by. I will never understand…

Like every game, the Cats get to show off their shoe game. Nick Richards by far was superior. Man, I wish this team loved Kyrie 4s and would just wear the Confettis. Man, I miss Keldon Johnson…

Lastly, for pregame, I took this photo of Nate videoing his guys warming up. Best hype man in college basketball! Excluding myself!

Now, take this as you will but not having a lot to say about what happened on the court for a game like this is actually a good sign. Kentucky took care of business. Also, what was going on around it was too entertaining to not mentioning it. Look, I do not know what was happening on ESPN because I was actually there but this would’ve been annoying me too.

As Matt, Tyler, and Drew had their fights to pick on with ESPN, Ryan took on Jay Bilas all night…

This made me laugh…

Ok, here’s my thing. I believe last year during the two College GameDay games, one of the weeks Bilas picked the opposing player to do the segment. Hey, I get it. No other teams get two GameDay sights in the same year. Only UK and Puke normally. I will give you that but you have no excuse…

By the way, Ryan if you’re reading this, I need a full synopsis tomorrow on KSR. I need to hear what he has to say live… Good thing I don’t have a class or a final tomorrow.

    I wish you all would quit whining about the 94′ segment. It’s not a big deal. You all realize it would take a couple hours to get over there, set up, get back to Rupp and set up again. I’m sure it’s just not worth it for a silly little segment that for some reason you all think is important.
