Wenyen Gabriel plans to wear #32 next year

It’s only a few more months until the 2016 signees show up on campus for summer workouts, and earlier today, Weynen Gabriel shared some news with the Big Blue Nation on Twitter. When asked, Gabriel said he plans to wear the number 32 at Kentucky in honor of his late cousin.

That’s a nice tribute, but there’s only one problem: walk-on Dillon Pulliam currently has the #32, and will be eligible this season after sitting out last year. Hopefully he and Wenyen can work something out.

Gabriel answered a few other questions from fans this afternoon, and I think you’ll like his answer when asked if he was excited about playing at UK:

Scholarship players get first pick. Just look how Andrew came in and got Jarod Polsen’s number.
