Graduating from college is a huge accomplishment, and at least three former Kentucky Wildcats made their way back to Lexington to congratulate some of their friends and former teammates.
Wenyen Gabriel, Hamidou Diallo and Isaiah Briscoe each arrived in Lexington in time to attend UK’s Friday afternoon graduation ceremony. There, they watched Brad Calipari and basketball manager Randy Gregory walk across the stage. Although not everyone could be in attendance, there was plenty of other BBN love online – Brad also got Instagram shoutouts from PJ Washington, Jarred Vanderbilt and Quade Green, among others.
You may remember Gregory’s incredible story. His father, a diehard basketball fanatic, is currently battling ALS. Both of his parents were able to travel from Balitmore to Lexington for their son’s senior day. Before he worked his last game inside Rupp Arena, Gregory opened up about his family, his humble beginnings, his relationships with the players and why senior day meant so much not only for himself, but for his family.
