WAVE-3 will show the UK game live tomorrow night

Good news for those of you in the Louisville area: WAVE-3 will air the Kentucky/Mississippi State game LIVE tomorrow night. The game is scheduled to be on the SEC Network, which has no affiliate in Louisville, but the SEC office has confirmed that WAVE-3 picked the game up. It will be shown on WKYT in Lexington. If you know what Dish or DirecTV channels it will be on, feel free to share them in the comments section.
I know I’ve been on vacation, but it feels like a bazillion years since the Cats played.

On Directv it shows that MSG channel 634 will be carrying the game!
Thank you Brett Dawson.
In the Etown area, the game is on the following channels:
WAVE – Channel 3
WBKO – Channel 13
WKYT – Channel 18
If you have Comcast HD, the WAVE HD channel it’s being shown on is 432.
Did you have to go back to 1999 to get that WAVE 3 logo?
The game will be on direct tv for free on espn full court channel 723
You will get the game on Dish Network channel 462…IF you have an ESPN Full Court subscription., which BTW is the best, least expensive Season Ticket you can buy if you are not in the Lexington area. We have only missed seeing a couple games in past ten years through Full Court. Costs $110/season. Heck, I would pay that much if I ‘scalped’ two tickets in Lex for only one game!
Agreed brother, the best $110 you can spend. GO CATS!!!
In the Central Time Zone, the DISH Network will show the UK-Miss St game @ 7PM on Channel 30 WUPX.
Ooops, make that Channel 30 WUPX
Dish will show it on channel 462 for free on ESPN full court. It is a free preview for Jan.
If we get local channels on DirecTV, wouldn’t it be carried on WAVE3 that way?
Unbelievable that there is no SEC affiliate in Louisville. Actually, it’s pathetic.
Not exactly sure about this, but my suspicion is when NBC began showing English Premier League soccer on the actual network (in addition to it’s cable channels), WAVE wasn’t able to carry the football package since the soccer matches often start at 11am and run over into football’s timeslot. That’s probably why WBNA picked up the SEC TV affiliation for the Louisville market. Not sure why WBNA has all of a sudden dropped the SEC TV syndication package now that basketball season has started. It really is sad, Louisville has more access to the Big 12 than the SEC. WBKI is picking up Big 12 games again this year.
Does anyone know what channel if any Time Warner will have the game on in the Covington/Newport area?
I have directv and live in NKY. My guide says the game will be on Star 64. Problem is that those games usually aren’t in high def, but at least we get to see the game.
I just looked on time warner guide. I live nky. Its on channel 64. The have a hd channel. Look up on guide. Go cats
Why is wave 3 not affiliated with the sec anymore? Didn’t the ion network WBNA cover sec football this past season? Looks like wbna could take over since they covered the football end. This is going to be a huge loss if the sec tournament won’t be available later in March.
It looks like dish has a free preview of full court going on and it shows the cats on 462 @ 8:00
Where can we see it on Bowling Green cable?
The dish full court preview on 462 is even showing it all the way out here in idaho! Go cats!!!
Directv has it on ch 677 according to their guide. 723 if you have full court.
Anybody know what channel for Time Warner in Owensboro?
Channel 634 on Direct TV “Sports Package” 7:00 pm Owensboro, Daviess Co. area.
It’s on WTVW Channel 7 out of Evansville at 7:00 CST.
In Cincinnati, often an afterthought in these postings, it is on Channel 11 on Time/WC.
Now we need to get WPSD in Paducah to carry the game. The local SEC Network affiliate in Paducah (WDKA) is carrying the Georgia/Missouri game instead of the UK game…
Somehow, they said they got more advertisers for the Missouri game than the UK game. Somewhat understandable, since they are located in Missouri, but I think if they would have tried, they could have made much for with UK.
WBKO in BowlingGreen area.
WUXP (Ch 14) for Nashville
Direct TV
Wed 1/8/14 channels
8:00 – 634 HD
8:00 – 677-1 HD
8:00 – 723 (ESPN FULL COURT)
Any online links for those of us in the frozen tundra known as Illinois? No Dish Network access. I noticed someone shut down the online streams I knew about already.
For some reason, Louisville Directv users get Fox Sports Cincy…not Fox Sports South, so we didn’t get a number of games “live” in December. The ones we did get on WBKI, if memory serves, was usually delayed and some of the worst “Low Def” I’ve ever seen.
Thanks WAVE for picking up this game.
