WATCH: Tyler Herro, Nick Richards, and EJ Montgomery talk to the media following Blue-White Scrimmage

Kentucky held their annual Blue-White Scrimmage this evening, and as expected, the Cats put on a show.

Tyler Herro led the way with 34 points, followed by Reid Travis with 27, PJ Washington with 23, EJ Montgomery with 21, and Keldon Johnson with 20. All ten starters managed to finish in double-digits.

After the game, the media got the chance to sit down with Herro, Montgomery, and Nick Richards about their thoughts on tonight’s performance and what’s to come going forward.

We’ll start with the leading scorer on the night, Tyler Herro, who discussed his shooting performance and how he isn’t concerned about how many points he has. As long as he’s helping the team, he’s happy:

Sophomore center Nick Richards talked about his overall confidence improving and how excited he is to talk trash to the opposition when he makes big plays:

Freshman forward EJ Montgomery capped the night off talking about whether or not he plays better with the lights shining at their brightest and how he feels about a potential platoon system:

Go Cats.
