WATCH: The Quintessential Jemarl Baker Highlight Reel

cal-baker

During John Calipari’s tenure at Kentucky, rarely do we witness a late recruiting surprise.  The emergence of California shooting guard Jemarl Baker is an exception to that rule.  You’ve seen snippets, but this highlight from Courtside Films encapsulates Baker’s game perfectly.

Looks like a good shooter. I’m sure he’ll be a great weapon to have next year. I can see those lobs to Bamba coming already….

so I was thinking… (yeah, I know that’s dangerous)… but anyway, anybody want to make odds on how many times we hear some reference to “Bam Bamba” if both those guys end up at UK next year?

Looks like a shooter, I’ll wait and see. Isaiah had a great mixtape with a shot too.

Lot of layups… Zays shots had poor form and rattled in way more. Baker doesnt rely on driving as much, therefore a shooter.

read the comments under the Briscoe video. A TON about him not having handle, not having a jump shot and not being athletic enough. Pretty prophetic

Dude is a shooter. Most of the time the ball never touches the rim.
