WATCH: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Quade Green and Nick Richards following Kentucky’s 61-59 loss to Tennessee

After that tough 61-59 loss at the hands of the Volunteers, three Wildcats braced themselves and faced the media. Here’s everything the trio had to say:

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander discussed the final minutes of the game, why this loss hurts so much and how the team is learning to hold themselves accountable.

Quade Green touched on his personal game, increasing his frequency of driving to the basket and Tennessee’s final three-pointer.

Nick Richards talked about what changed down the stretch, what the team did well and how the Cats will move forward to the Texas A&M game this weekend.

Media: So how do you like Dakota, and playong in the G League?

UK player: I really thought I would be drafted into the league…

Media: Well the summers are nice here, but the ice fishing is bad during the months of July and August. But, hey, it is better than Bosnia right? At least you don’t travel to games on used school busses.

UK Player: You fish for ice?

You won’t find a guy on this team listed on an NBA roster next year, when the NBA season starts.

    Go Cats.
