WATCH: Keion Brooks, B.J. Boston and Dontaie Allen provide Injury Updates

In less than a month the Kentucky Wildcats will tip-off the 2020-21 college basketball season. As the team prepares with two-a-days, a few players are finally healthy while one is rehabbing a nagging injury.

Before all of the basketball action begins, friend of Kentucky Sports Radio, Maggie Davis, talked to a couple of Cats for BBN Tonight. We’ve heard others describe the nature of Keion Brooks’ injury, but now for the first time we get to hear from the source exactly how his leg is limiting his preparation for the upcoming season.

“I’m feeling good,” he said. “I’m getting treatment everyday for my injury. We’re taking it day-by-day. I’m still a part of practice. I’m still around my teammates, encouraging, cheering them on and when it’s time to step back out there, I’ll be ready to go.”

Maggie also spoke to B.J. Boston about his finger injury that temporarily put him in a cast to start the fall semester. He’s good to go and so is former Mr. Kentucky Basketball, Dontaie Allen, who dealt with seemingly one injury after another before ever arriving on UK’s campus.

It’s amazing how much scarier a haircut makes Keion look. I’m not sheets for these kids cutting their hair, mine is 5 inches past my shoulder, but with Keion it’s night and day. He went from looking like a kid just trying to figure everything out to looking like a grown ass man that’s ready to scare the SEC. Think he’s going to go bonkers on the college basketball world this year.

So are you saying Keion getting a haircut is going to make him go bonkers next year ? not saying he is not (I think he will be greatly improved, he started showing signs at the end of the year0, but you only mentioned his haircut as the reason, i think maybe it might be getting after it in the gym off season and adding strength will be the reason. LOL, just giving you a hard time, but it read as though the haircut was the IT factor.
