WATCH: John Calipari’s Postgame Press Conference

John Calipari took questions from the media as he explained what went wrong in Kentucky’s loss to Florida on Senior Day in Rupp Arena. “We weren’t the same team today,” he said of the Wildcats.

Calipari also teased a non-conference game Kentucky considered for next week, a “top-ranked” opponent, he said, but it’s unlikely another game will be added to the schedule now.

Hear everything Coach Cal said in the postgame press conference:

We weren’t the same team today. Sure you were coach. Your team is better at taking a knee than playing the sport of basketball. LOSERs

What does the kneeling have to do with them losing games. The game they kneeled before was possible the best game they played all year.

I just don’t understand why Call insists on leaving Askew in the game after he has missed wide open 3’s BADLY and he is no threat at all to attack the basket and score and constantly leaves his man to help down low and gives up a 3 every time!!! If he would take him out and put in anyone else Hell Riley Welch would be fine their chances of winning close games would go up 75%.. He kills this team and they are getting better and might actually have a chance to win the SEC tournament if he would just keep him on the bench

Hate to break it to you like this; but, Cal teaches them to leave their man, and chase the ball; we’ve seen it with different players year after year after year. And yes, the m2m defense is completely worthless when it’s played that way.

Every team should press Askew full court, he’s gonna pick up his dribble or throw it away. Every team should go 1-2-2 or 3-2 against us. And last thought, quit leaving players wide open at the 3 pt line cause you’re trying to double the post, hasn’t worked in yrs and it kills us every yr.
