Watch Calipari on “Morning Joe” and “Squawk Box”

John Calipari’s national book tour wrapped up this morning with appearances on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” In case you’re in Calipari withdrawal after yesterday’s whirlwind tour, enjoy the clips above and below, in which Cal applauds the NCAA for finally approving unlimited meals and snacks, and lobbies for additional pay for players in the form of stipends.

I agree and get what you’re saying, but I’m also chuckling picturing HS hoops players sitting around watching CNBC and MSNBC.

These appearances are to promote his book. It’s what anyone who’s famous does if they’re releasing a book. Btw, you can catch me on Morning Joe tomorrow where I’ll be discussing my upcoming book release, “Morons in the Comment Section”

Big difference between FOX and NBC, one network focuses on race, drugs, guns and hustlers and one network focuses on helping the athletes.

These poor athletes!! Blows my mind how we force these kids to attend college and wait a yr before giving them a few million to where they can eat. The football team has 14 players over 300 lbs! Just imagine what men we might build if we actually could feed them. I imagine they lose all this weight from banging their pick of the college cuties available.

Recruiting Fodder? Really? Fodder? It seems to be it should be called Recruiting TOOL. Not sure by what you meant, but my guess if you like fodder you’ll love your mudda

Hello fodder, hello mudda. LOL Websters lists a definition of fodder as: “material that is used for a particular purpose.” I think use of the word ‘fodder’ is quite appropriate in this instance.

Great job by Cal, you could tell Joe Scarborough was a real fan of all things BBN too – pretty awesome.

Always liked Scarborough… even O’Reilly, even though he is on the worst news network on the planet. If Calipari ever wanted to have a news talk show, though, he could out-rate both of them.

    1:32 pm April 16, 2014 Permalink

If people hate Fox, it’s because they don’t like their presuppositions being challenged. All news is biased, and Fox’s biased make wittle butthurt liberals mad and offended…which is quite easy to do. Your default position in life is to be offended. Besides, Fox destroys the others in ratings…your in the minority, boy.

How hard is it to make a Butthurt repugnancons upset? Not sure which “boy” you are referring to, but I ask if one is in the minority, how do you explain losing the election on both the popular and electoral college votes?

    • Idiots kill society
      2:52 pm April 16, 2014 Permalink

Mentioning ratings absolutely kills your argument. Millions continue to watch big bang theory and dancing with the stars. That doesn’t mean its good programming. Both liberal and conservative networks are for clowns. Go ahead and continue soaking in some fox news. Just killing time before your high rated new episode of two and half men airs.

  12. Liberals are trendy
    1:36 pm April 16, 2014 Permalink

Liberals love the appearance of being “smart”, but they function off emotion. No productive, great society has ever been built upon liberal/progressive ideas. These radical ideas manifest when the said country/empire has reached its peak and is on the apathetic stage of the nation cycle. Liberals are parasites that feast on a dying host, further killing it–then themselves.

in the facts! The only bad thing about Cal doing these TV spots is it brings out the completely ignorant haters. I went on to CNBC to see the video and found the article with the headline “Players should get paid: Kentucky coach Calipari” and of course, the idiots come out. It is amazing how truly ignorant their readers are, especially since their target demographic is people with a higher level of education. I tried spreading some truth but it’s like throwing pearls to swine.

I know where we can get the money. From your contract John. How about you take, let say, a 500,000 pay cut. That would cover it right? Instead of worrying about the media, maybe you could just pay for their stipends since you are so worried about it! Give me a freaking break. This guy is a fraud

Cal can’t legally give a player a single dime. That’s why he found the money through the NCAA which can give the players money if it so chooses to change its own rules to do so. Lastly, you’re a moron.
