WATCH: Behind-the-scenes of Kentucky’s first practice after the Duke loss

Kentucky held its first practice since the Duke loss yesterday afternoon, and although reporters didn’t get to talk to the players, UK did release a behind-the-scenes video showing the team getting some tough love from John Calipari.

“If you don’t feel like doing it, don’t do it,” Calipari says. “That’s why you got beat by 34.”

Need to see some Cats by 90 tonight.

I would be interested in seeing the whole team in that pic. Who else has their head up like KJ? I’m not down on this team, though. Hopefully they learned whatever lessons they needed to learn and move on from that first game.

What picture? That’s PJ! Not Keldon. But yeah the night of and the day after felt pretty bad.. right now I’m just so excited to watch them again and I’m hoping for a 100 point win! We need that confidence back from before the Duke game. Duke is probably the best team in college basketball but that game was at least somewhat of a fluke. No way they’re 34 points better than us

Yes, definitely don’t comment while being distracted by work. It will end up with you being the source of a urinating in cheerios discussion.

I agree CC….I know on paper this looks like a nothing game but this is an important game for the Cats to get their heads back up and start thinking about what they want to be in March instead of what they were on Tuesday….that’s old news, let’s move on.

You know what? How many years do we have a terribly painful loss in March? And Matt talks about how sad they are in the locker room. I don’t think our guys will forget how painful this was, and it may help us when the game matters more. No reason to be overconfident, lazy, selfish ever again. They’ve seen how much doing it the wrong way sucks. If they can all follow Keldon and Reid’s lead, they can be just as good as we originally expected.

I for one am not hoping for a blow out tonight. Of course, I want them to win but I’d be really happy if they never get a double digit lead. They’ve gotta learn that they have to work hard off the court and fight hard on the court to have a chance to win against every opponent. We don’t just roll out the balls, we’re Big Blue!

I’d be happy I f the first opponent this team blows out is the Dirty Birds! Earned, not Given.

I don’t really care about the margin of victory. We’re good enough that we should win pretty easily. I want to see them take care of business, and the score will be what it is.
