Want to own a piece of Rupp Arena? Now’s your chance. On Friday, Rupp Arena will be auctioning off some old items left over after recent renovations, including old visiting team lockers, unused UK lockers (the type used prior to the locker room renovation, now used by UK assistants and visiting teams), old basketball rims, trainer’s benches, hockey benches, concessions equipment and signs, items from the convention center and opera house, and more. Here’s all you need to know:

What: Rupp Arena auction

Where: Rupp Arena back parking lot off Manchester Street under the Jefferson Street Bridge

When: Friday, August 30th at 9 a.m. ET

    Glad to see this stuff for sale, but in my view, they are going about ALL WRONG….Only a select few will be able to get in on the action…Why not use a on line site like E Bay, then run some adds for ALL the UK fans to see..then set a amount of time say 5 days for Bids. This way many more people can bid, UK fans all across the USA……Not sure what the Locker section would be worth, but I’d be will bid pretty high…..
